Podcast: The Ethical Considerations of Parent Bloggers

I’ve been blogging at Mocha Dad for nearly 7 years. During that time I’ve chronicled my experience as a dad and shared stories about my family. Writing about my life has helped me to connect with other parents and build a community of bloggers who support one another. My blog has also drawn interest from companies that want me to promote their products. Deciding what to share, which companies to endorse, and how much of my life should remain private are issues I have to deal with regularly.

I talked about the ethical considerations of parent bloggers on Houston Matters along with Lisa Stauber, founder of the Blog Elevated Conference and  Jill Jarvis, who writes the blog Big Kid Small City. Listen to our discussion and share your thoughts in the comments section.

Stay Strong,
