Review: Samsung Rugby Smart Phone

In my lifetime, I’ve owned about 15 cell phones. Two have died a horrible death in the washing machine. Two have been left behind in a taxi cab and an airplane. One shattered to pieces after I dropped it, and the others have ended up in the cell phone graveyard otherwise known as my desk drawer.

Some of these disasters could have been avoided if I had a phone as sturdy and rugged as the Samsung Rugby Smart phone from AT&T. Rubber seals help keep out dirt and moisture, and a screw lock on the battery cover provides added protection of the battery, SIM card and other internal components. The Rugby Smart is even sturdy enough to survive a fall from 6.6 feet. The display is protected by a strengthened glass that resists damage from bumps, drops and scratches. You won’t have to worry as much about extreme temperatures from weather or leaving it in a hot car; your Rugby Smart can withstand temperatures from -60°F to +160°F.
