Is It Appropriate to Discuss Osama bin Laden’s Death with Children?

By now, I’m sure everyone has heard the news about Osama bin Laden’s death. As I listened to the news reports, I wondered how I would approach this topic with my children. I feel comfortable discussing the news with my 10-year-old daughter, but I’m not sure that it is appropriate to discuss it with my 7 and 3 year old sons.

Therefore, I have a question for you:

Did you talk to your children about Osama bin Laden’s death? If so, what did you say? If not, why not?

I’d really appreciate your feedback. I’ll share some of your responses on a subsequent post.

Stay Strong,
