The Lightning Thief

After my daughter, Nee, returned from her school’s  book fair, she showed me her purchase.

“Look Daddy,” she said. “I bought Percy Jackson & the Olympians – The Lightning Thief.

“That’s a pretty cool book,” I said. “May I borrow it?”

“Sure, Daddy,” she responded. “But you have to return it in two weeks or less.”

“What if I keep it for longer than two weeks,” I asked.

“Then you will have to give me extra kisses,” she replied.

I think I will keep it for an extra month.
