If you’re still looking for some great toys for Santa to place under the Christmas tree, look no further than DUB Garage. Toy State has teamed up with DUB Magazine, the authority on custom car culture, to roll out an exciting new line of toys for a new generation of car enthusiasts. Each car capture’s DUB’s signature wide-body styling and distinctive Dropstars and TIS (Twenty Inches Strong) rim designs along with best-in-class lights and sounds play.

My sons and I (we are car fanatics) got a change to play with a few of these cars and here’s what we thought:

DUB GARAGE CUSTOM RIDEZ

Although the recommended age for this car is 6+, I had no concerns about my 4-year-old son, X, playing with this cool Dodge Charger. This model is motorized and features realistic lights and sounds. X’s face would beam with joy every time the truck flashed its lights or made noise. After a few minutes of both, I was ready for him to have some quiet time with the truck. But I didn’t stop his fun because he was enjoying himself too much.

DUB GARAGE D-JAYZ

My 8-year-old son, N, tested this model (we have the DUB Edition DZ28 SUV). It comes equipped with dual mixing decks that play realistic DJ scratch sounds and hip-hop music. If this type of music isn’t your thing, I’d recommend that you pass on this model. However, if your kids enjoy hip-hop beats, then they’ll love this toy. N liked to pretend as if he were a DJ and created various musical mixes on the turntables. He was so engrossed in the music that I think he forget to play with it as a vehicle.

DUB GARAGE CONTROL FREAKZ R/C

While the boys had fun with their cars, I gave the remote control Ford Mustang 5.0 a try. I’ve loved R/C cars since I was a kid and this one didn’t disappoint. The controller was easy to use and the car was very responsive and fast. It was so fast, that I had to easy off the juice to keep it under control. It wasn’t long before my boys each wanted their turn with the R/C.

My sons and I had fun playing with these cars and would definitely recommend them to all car lovers. All of these great toys make great Christmas gifts and are available at Toys R’ Us.
