mochadad krave cookies

Ingredients

2-1/2 Cups of all-purpose flour

3/4 Teaspoon baking soda

1/2 Teaspoon salt

3/4 Cup butter, softened

1/4 Cup shortening

1 Cup of brown sugar

1/2 Cup of granulated sugar

2 Eggs

1 Teaspoon vanilla

1 Cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup of Kellogg’s Krave cereal

1/2 cup coarsely crushed peppermint candies

Directions

1. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.

2. In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and shortening with an electric mixer at medium speed until fluffy. Add brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix until combined. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until fluffy. Stir in the flour mixture.

3. Add chocolate chips, Krave cereal, and peppermint candies. Stir until combined.

4. On cookie sheets lined with parchment paper, drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
